I've just hatched my first batch of baby brine shrimp, having been feeding crushed flake to my fry for the last 4 weeks or so. This is my first experience with fry.
The bigger greedier fry absolutely love the brine shrimp, but the nippers are still slightly oblivious to them. I'm guessing they're so used to eating crushed flake that they just stay at the surface to feed. However, the brine shrimp begin to sink immediately and pass them right by. The bigger more mobile fry, and the more assertive realise that there are morsels to be had at the mid- and lower-levels of the tank, whereas the little ones just stay at the top and miss out on the goodness!
Should i keep feeding crushed flake as well or will they eventually all catch on?
