At the moment I feed my Angelfish pellets daily, frozen Brine shrimp or blood worms once a week. My lfs feeds they're Angelfish brine shrimp everyday. Should I feed more frozen foods or just keep feeding them they way I have? Also, would freeze dried brine shrimp be acceptable to feed daily? I've had a breeding pair for 2 years now and they seem very healthy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Freeze dried foods supposed to contain less nutrition than frozen, so I would avoid freeze dried foods. I would feed the angel more a variet of foods and alternate the foods. Like this...

Sunday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Frozen bloodworms

Monday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Frozen Brine Shrimp

Tuesday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Shrimp Pellets

Wednesday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Frozen bloodworms

Thursday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Frozen Brine Shrimp

Friday
Morning: Fish Flakes
Evening: Shrimp Pellets

Saturday

You can add more foods if you like. The bigger the variety, the better. Fish flakes usually contain a little more vitamins that other foods, but the frozen foods contain more protein. Skipping a day helps the fish settle it's system. Also try to feed vegetables, such as zuchini or frozen peas (skinned).

Mine just eat flake with sometimes live foods. And they breed all the time. thought i would just add. They are also very helathy

Flake varied types frozen blood worms and frozen tubifex

I feed mine a big variety here what I use:

Discus delights (frozen food)
High quality flakes
TetraMin tropical granules
ColorBits tropical granuels
TetraMin tropical tablets
MicroCrabs cyclop-eeze granules
TetraCichlid mini granules
sinking brine shrimp pellets
Hikari free dried brine shrimp

And I have a little brine shrimp hatchery that has been set up for a day.
