Favorite Fish?

IMO, I'd go for the cichlids for the vast colorations and sizes. All of the small fish I have a cool and all, but to me there is just something about a larger, more colorful fish. Others may disagree, but, that's just me

I'm interested in the rarer livebearers- so I suppose that's assorted smaller fish. I have a thing about small fish anyway. The ones I like best in each category always seem to be the smallest: heterandrias from the livebearers, multifasciatus from the cichlids, furcata from rainbow fish, khuulies from the loaches, peacock and desert gobies from the oddballs. The one exception is the cyprinids where I am absolutely in love with the moustached danio.

I just admire the toughness it takes to survive in a hard world when you're the size of a least killifish.

Such a hard question to answer. I love cichlids but I love Bettas too - mine has such a great character - he comes to see me when I get home from work and when I talk to him through the glass he seems to listen - maybe he's just watching the strange behaviour of his pet human.

chiclids cos there's just so much variety, 4 of our 6 tanks are mostly stocked with them and they're all completely different

fish - assorted but i i love shrimp so if it said invertabrates orshrimp it would of got my vote!

I like them but thier deffinatley not my favorite fish!

Ciclids and Bottom feeders are close.......

then the bettas are next so far.....

Definately cichlids (africans), however my betta is a close second, he's such a neat little guy. I just love my cichlids though, lots of color, and a huge personality in a small package.
