Favorite Betta Variaty

just orderd my new fish from KG tank 73 80 and 46a i like the more colourfull bettas, crowntails and short finned(plakat maybe) but it seems to me people on here prefer the paler varietys. whats youre favorite colour, fin type? post pics if possible. on another note,is the plakat different to a short finned fighter? mite be a dumb question to some of you but i am new to bettas

There are a number of different fin types and sooooo many different colours,- wouldn't it be amazing to have them all!!!!

My personal favs so far are HM's. I will be getting another tank towards the end of the year and plan on dividing it for two males. I want to get a blue butterfly HM and one that is predominantly white,- probably with a bit of blue

I currently have an SD, one which was advertised as a HM but looks rather like my SD! plus a Plakat that I bought as a girl

I've got 13 females, and another two being added in a couple of days. No idea what they are though I'm afraid as I'm new to the betta world too!

I've only ever owned "veil tailed" bettas, but my absolute favorite is the "half-moon," and I'll be getting one in the near future. Honestly, my favorite color is solid white, though I saw a betta recently with a black body and yellow fins. He was a real stunner. Welcome to the forum

I personally am a fan of Crowntails and Plakats but I don't like pure breeds since I guess for me mutts tend to catch my eye more then anything then again it takes some of those mutts to make the pures some people want

Seeing Polo is what made me love white bettas! He's the most precious, adorable one I've ever seen
