Fat Male Or Pregnant Female?

Hello there,

I have a new white balloon belly Molly.
When I bought it, it already had this massive fat belly. Now it has been in the hatching tank for a few days and nothing
I don't want to stress the poor animal for no reason..
How can I be sure is not just a good old fat Male?

I'm new on the forum, is there a way I could post a picture somewhere on the form and let you guys decide?

ballons are a unhealthy sub speicies of molly and are both aft
males have this long skiny stick on there bottoms and the females will have a triangle shape one

Does it have a rod at the base of its abdomen? Ballon mollies are supposed to have big bellies.

You are not supposed to keep a fish in a breeder trap for more than a day. They can abort their fry and even die out of stress there.

I can't tell really because I never had baloon mollies and they always look like baloons but she's not squared enough for a pregnant one, her belly is kind of round. Normally soon before giving birth(24hours) livebearers get the anal area kind of opening up giving the fish a square belly look.
