Fat Girls..

Both my little ct girls are very fat..bars( vertical )and you can see their white dot....will they just chuck the eggs out or what?

I've read that if they can see the male sometimes they get so excited they release the eggs. Maybe that will help slim them down?

Hey liz!

That just means they are eggy (and they think they are mature enough to spawn )! Several of mine have been eggy for a long time and only one drops eggs on her own. Seems to be when she's stressed though, like occasionally during water changes she will start pouring about 20 out at once! But she never releases them all and is always eggy! It's actually pretty cute

But it's normal, just means they are eggy and probably pretty healthy!
