Hi everyone

One of my Ember Tetra's has gone fat and seems to be defending an area of the tank and chasing off other embers and endlers. It also is staying very close to the substrate, comes up about 1" thats it

The cories seem to be really interested in that area too.

Cheers

She's looking a bit plump there, she must be full of eggs!

I remember keeping these a few months ago, my females we're laying all the time, they're impossible to breed, the eggs are like grains of sand!

Thanks Truck, I hope she is full of eggs and not ill, fingers crossed.

She is still fat this morning

maybe she needs to go on the biggest loser lol, my gold barb has been fat like that forever so i think shes just fat imo, if this is recent then i wouldnt worry as no fish can get super fat in 2days and be sick

I've got an Ember that's fat, not quite that fat but still fat. Had him (guessing) about 9 months now.
