To be honest no we are not all meant to be friends on a forum. Imho if you can't say anything nice or say something constructive in a polite way then steer clear and don't say anything at all. There are idiots in all walks of life and no amount of name calling or trying to put them in the wrong will change their minds. Some people are a lost cause

Say what you want about ageists, but most 13 year olds dont listen to good advice, and most think they know best.
I admit, when i was 13 i was just like that.

I think Mike_nofx said most. Think back a couple of years ago demonmagus... you probably wanted something you couldnt get and still somehow got it... even if it has only happened ONCE. We were all 13 and went through it. Age however has no effect on this topic really. He made a generalized statement and if you think about it you might realise that it NORMALLY holds out to be true. Now i dont want to get drawn into this argument, but i do believe that tetra-man was just curious, but it was quite ignorant for him to say "ill put what i want in the tank anyways" or something to that extent. If you cared about fish happiness, you wouldnt do that, unless you were a beginner at the hobby and saw the picture of the tank on the front of the box you got it out of. Mike_nofx however was valid in saying some of the comments he did say because he is most likely concerned for the welfare of the fish involved. This is just my two cents.

On the subject of river tanks, the tank must be long (ie, not cubular, round, whatever), lots of powerheads possibly connected to sponges as filtration, large rock substrate, not may plants.
