Fake Plants

Afternoon all,

I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of getting some really realistic fake plants from? Don't get me wrong, I love the natural look (we already have two java ferns, an anubus and moss balls) but there's something missing in the back left corner of our edge! I can't stand plastic so was thinking silk...

Any good aquatics shop will sell realistic fake plants. I am a big fan of them myself as the ceramic media in my tank in not suitable for many live plants only moss balls etc. My fish don't know the difference! Be warned though that silk plants are the most expensive fake plants you can by. The biorb one's cost around £12 for two small ones! However, you pay allot for the name with biorb so shop around. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the advice, we shall have a look round tomorrow. I would get more real plants but the lighting isn't that great in the Edge and I want some colour in there.

Yeah. You cannot have a aquarium without colour.

All my plants are fake, you can see then in my signature, most of then are aqueon and marina...
