Fair Price?

My LFS sell African Cichlids for around £8 each on avarge different species vary they also sell 2 for £14 on any species if this a fair price to be paying they had to raise price recently because of taxes on fish and trasporting them around and stuff! Bummer!!!

It depends on the species, £8 for the more common Mbuna like Estherae and Lombardoi would be expensive. However £8 for Demasoni and some of the less available species would be OK.

taxes on fish, thats a new one on me!!!

there is always tax on everything, but if an lfs is selling something for £8, they are usually buying for less than a 1/4 of that. try finding a local breeder through a fish club or local free ads paper, and see how much they charge.
