crap crap i think i killed my fish!!!!! i feed the girls blood worms and accidently put too many in the tank and thought oh well i can do their water change a day early and went to siphon out 25 % and was sucking up the extra worms as i went ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and my fav purple/blue double ray ct girl went for a worm right at the end of the tube and got stuck!!!!!!!! i mean stuck! her face all the way to her top fin got stuck and she was doing that stupid cartoon blugie eye thing,,,!! i shook the tube and wouldnt get out i stood there for a second and realized she was stuck casue of the downward sipohn and pulled the bottom out of the bucket and she was still stuck in the tube!!!!i had to blow ir threw the other end of the air line tube to get her out!!!!!!!!


she is still swimming around but her eyes are stilll bluged out and her scales on her back and under her chin where her gills are , well all bunchined up looking and ruffled out,,, i melifix the tank, put salt in and water conditoner with aloe for torn fins in. i cant think of anything else to do for her but wait and see if she makes it till morning.....@am!!!!! she is gorgous and i wanted to spawn her next with my double ray ct boy, spaz,,, i hope she makes it,,,,crap crap crap i am a idoit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG that majorly sucks... I sucked a baby platy up once and it came out the other end completely disembowelled so be glad you didnt' do that.

Are her eyes bloodshot?

Hopefully if her gills aren't damaged she'll be okay... good luck with her! I hope she makes it.

oh yea the are blood shot and her gills are fed up too,,, she is still swimming and can get arounf for air ok,,, but i mean her face is still shaped like it was stucked in the tube,,,,,,,i dont know if i should end her suffering or not,, wish it wasnt 12 am so i could get my sister to look ar her.

I home shes gonna be ok, hey its still better then the time I poured out a platy by accident down the kitchen sink, went the whole way down the pipes and I fished her out of the rain water gully.
