Externa filter leaking from the side why is this?

I have an aqua one ocellaris 850 and it is leaking fmom the side why would this be?

How long have you had the filter? Have you checked the o ring under the filter head? It could be it needs replaced

Or else the mating parts aren’t aligned properly.
