Existing Fish To New Tank

I have got 6 white cloud mountain minnows in a standard tank at room temperature.

I have been given a new tank with a siamese fighting fish as a gift. it is all up and running and cycled but obviously the tank is heated to 82f,I don't have enough room for both tanks, can i add the white cloud minnows to the tank with the siamese fighter in, if so how do i do it without harming or shocking the fish?

i wouldnt..how big are the tanks? try and keep them if you can,but i know i wouldnt personally put anything in with a betta (siamese fighter)
