My son also likes taking the lid off my 2.5 gal and playing in the sand and water. He woke up before I did yesterday morning and climbed out of his crib when I was still sleeping early in the morning (around 5:00 am early) and I woke up to a wet sandy mess all over the living room floor, the end table, my guitar.......
sounds like you need to get a lid on that crib ;) :p

babies: Can reach in excess of 6 feet in length. A tight well fitting lid is essential as the fish is a jumper and will attempt to leave the aquarium.
  The thought has crossed my mind, espically the morning I woke up to find black permanent marker all over the hallway wall, and the arm of the recliner, and some of his toys, and....., and ....................

MM sound the same here, my son who was 4 at the time thought it was great making his own breakfast, so he makes some cereal adds loads of milk then shares the lot with my 120l .He come upstairs and said "Dad you can have a rest ive fed the fish"
