Equipment Help Needed.

Right I've decided that with my birthday money I should invest in some decent equipment.

I've already decided to buy a new filter and heater, a condensation cover and possibly LED moonlight strips, a timer for my lights and some redmoor wood and java moss (although this isn't really equipment tehe)

So, I need your help to choose, if you could post your favourite choice out of the options I post it would be helpful!

Filter:
Fluval 205, Eheim 2213, Eheim External Filter Professionel with Heater and Media (comes with integrated heater?)

Heater:
Hydor inline heater, fluval E series heater.

Test kit:
API master test kit, Salifert (although I can only find an ammonia test?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Go for the Eheim or a Rena or Tetratec, the Fluval 05 range is terrible, as for the heater I'd recommend an inline Hydor, and go for the Salifert test kits, they have the lot at Charter house aquatics online, when you have the choice between API and Salifert go for Saliferts every time, the API kits are naff in comparison.

What do you think of the eheim 2213? It looks like a pretty good deal really for an eheim, other than that i think i may go for the tetratec EX700

What's the tank size? Eheim are good, but expensive, they have green pipework too which can be a bit unsightly.

64L, so i suppose its pretty much triple filtration

I don't mind about the green pipework, I'm hoping to get some DIY 'shelves' put in the tank that I can cover with java moss and these could go around the pipes.

The 2213 is only £55 from charterhouse, its cheaper than the tetratec anyway!

The 2213 would be perfect, the flow rate is good for a 64 Litre.

I'm pretty chuffed actually, I've got in my current basket at charterhouse, 4 salifert tests, a hydor heater, the eheim 2213 and 500ml Prime for £122.50, and free delivery!

Eheim all the way, I now have several and they are fantastic. Yes they come with green pipes, but I don't notice them anymore and if they really don't appeal, then you can always replace them with clear ones, as they are standard diameters.

Yes I know they're supposed to be very good, its just theyve always seemed a trillion billion pounds so ive never bought one, think im gonna go for it though! and as i said, green pipes arent a big issue for me, because i want to make some shelf type things that should hide them
