I've been thinking about getting some endlers recently after I saw some nice ones in a shop. Can anyone advise me if they'd be ok in my tank. I've got some platy's, quite a few green neons, some rummys and quite a few cory's oh and kuhlis. None of the fish in my tank are ever aggressive, the platy's fight amongst themselves but never with the other fish.

Does this sound like an ok environment for endlers? It's quite well planted too and has lots of hiding places, I hope that doesn't mean they'll constantly hide though because my cory's have a habit of doing that and I want to have some more fish I can actually see!

If the tanks big enough for all them fish then it sounds perfect although i wouldnt expect many fry if any to survive.

I find my endlers do fine with everything except apple snails, mystery snails. They pick at everything that holds still constantly, as do many other common livebearers, and the snails retreat into their shells and end up starving.

Cool thanks. I have a bit of a snail problem that I'm trying to cure so I don't mind them trying to eat some of them anyway.

They won't actually eat an intact snail but they pick at them the same way you see them picking at plants of the glass on the tank.
