I had four endlers, and was assured that they were pure bred's, and to be fair having looked at every reference I can for them, I think that they are.

What I'm trying to work out is how to establish this for definate.

Also, I know that they are related to Guppy's, but I didn't expect them to breed as rapidly as they have. I am currently at a loss as to what to do with the fry. Ever fish keeper that I work with or live near by how have endlers, and no LFS's within 20 miles will take fish back under any conditions, or take unwanted fry.

Therefore, does anyone living within a practical distance of York, England want any Endlers?

Will give them away for free as long as they go to a good home.

I am in bridlington, we come through to York occassionally. How many fry do you have?

currently about 20. I had more, but they are currently being fed to my Fig 8 puffer in order to keep the numbers down.

I'll be breaking down the tank they are in in a couple of weeks, so at that point I'm happy to give the adults away.

However, fry are currently quite young, they may need a week or two before they are ready to travel.

there are a few things to look for, pics would help but il have a go, depending on the type they should have a black bar present on the body, the colours should be bright and well defined, not pastel or faded. the dorsal should be fairly short, not long and flowing like a guppies, also they do not have a 45d angle like a guppy does. the swords rarely extend much beyond the end of the tail. `````````````````
