Hey guys! On Saturday, I started my job at my LPS, and even though I tried to convince myself not to - I bought some fish.

They were labelled as "feeder guppies", but they look quite a lot like endlers to me...
See for yourself:

And no worries, they are in a tank by themselves!

Thanks in advance for any help! :good:

They may be feral or "wild" guppies but they have no endler in them by my estimation. Endlers are much stronger colored than those washed out specimens. Endlers display strong colors like this guy in my tank.

I hope the difference is obvious enough to all.

It's a 'wild' guppy. I breed them as a side project to try and strengthen their natural colors. Here are some compiled pictures of the males from my last batch. As you can see from the picture, even males in the same batch can have a BIG difference in color quality and expressions. What you have there is certainly a wild guppy type.

Thanks! Good! That's just what I've always wanted! I've been looking EVERYWHERE for just plain, wild/feeder guppies! :good:

Will it be bad if they crossbreed with fancy guppies? I'm not planning on doing that, but I'm just wondering.....?

THANKS! :good: B-)
