Endlers And Platties Together

Hi - just thinking ahead to stocking my tank (nowhere near finished cycling yet but am enjoying anticipation of new fish andenjoying planning ahead as to what fish to get).

I am thinking of getting 2 female platties and 4 males endlers - will the male endlers harass the female guppies? I don't want that, if so

Not sure if this is a daft question or not but have heard a lot about guppy tendencies!!

Male endlers will harass most fish even if their not livebearers.
so yes it will harass them

If it is guppies, not platies, the male endlers will breed with the female guppies and will produce fry. Endlers are very optimistic when it comes to breeding and will not stop trying but they are also very gentle fish that won't force themselves on the females the way some fish will. If it is endlers with platies as you said in the first part of the sentence, the continual mating attempts will do no harm because the cross just won't happen.
