Hi guys I had 15 endler fry of my mate a few months back. He gave food for them they all died bar 1 which is going strong now but I'm still feeding him the food he gave me. Haven't got a clue what it is its like a fine red powder.

He's about an inch long now head to the end of his tail I'm just wondering when can I start giving him nornal flake food?

Normal flake will be fine, brine shrimp would be another good food. Try bloodworm to see if he can manage them. With it going from a fry food which is very fine, you may want to crumble the flake a little initially.

you should juss has this be your standard reply to every comment..

what are your stats?? you never answered my question..

is your tank cycled??

I use plain old standard fish flake food on my endler colony. They thrive and drop tons of fry. This is a picture of the tank at feeding time.

Endlers are really that easy if you start out with hard water and a cycled tank.

No one can know whats wrong without water stats which is why any serious fish keeper will ask the question, then you can try to determine the problem and offer help.

I never answered your question about my water stats because I dont have a problem and you were just being sarcastic. My water stats are spot on and tested on a regular basis as is my PH and GHD - ive been keeping fish for years and been a board member here for 4 years now - I know what im doing, and if I need help I ask nicely and then give the information required for an answer.

Your original post was about losing fish - 6 of them if I remember correctly. Fish dont die for no reason so I asked you for your water stats to try to help but you just ignored the question both from me and Tomtomtom and then said 'Actually dude, I don't know', and then in a later post 'somewhere between a-ok and absolutely perfect' If you give that sort of response and make the kind of comments you have above dont expect people to warm to you
