Encouraging Panchax To Breed

recently got a pair for free along with lots of other random fish with my new tank,they are a pair(one is gold,other is almost clear) about 4". Ow can i encourage them to breed?

Bright lighting definitely gets at least the male "in the mood!"

Thanks for the replies, their is 4 54W T5 bulbs over the tank

Mmm, that is interesting nobody; in my case it are the females that are in the mood, but the dominant male doesn't want to move. I have an 11 W light over the 20 litre tank, plus it is standing close to the window.
