My own place!!! Niagara Falls, Ont.
Betta spawn tank -- Before you ask, I am prepared to take care of the fry and all their needs, as well as jar them and find homes for them. That's not an issue.
Two DPs -- I have a ton of snails in my 15g, so they'd have plenty of food.
Heavily planted, neons -- I'm supposed to take in DannyBoy17's 6 neons, so why not?
Other -- give me some ideas!

This ten gallon's just sitting empty on my nightstand and I can't make up my mind what I want to do with it!

Just don't breed VTs if you do bettas ;)

Maybe you could get a community of lady-bettas? They're very cute.

I don't really like guppies anymore, actually.. had a couple, they're now in DannyBoy17's tank because they were just annoying me. It's the 80-some-odd fry a month that bothers me.

Should've mentioned that.. preferably no livebearers.

Oh believe me, I wouldn't.. I know there's no way I could find them homes. Now the crowntails I have.. I actually had a short discussion with wuvmybetta on this in the Betta forum. I talked to my LFS and they'd gladly take the fry, and a friend of mine would be more than happy to.. She's got about 13 males right now, so more wouldn't bother her.

Yea, and you can have a planted tank as well. Just make sure the DPs are healthy and eating, as another poster in TTF who stays nearby, and myself, have had trouble getting them to eat in the past. They were probably WC so that must have been why.

Too expensive for me, but the end result justifies it. If you're willing to spend a few hundred dollars, then go for it. But with a tank that small, you'll have problems maintaining salinity due to evaporation.

Im goign to set up a 12 gallon nano. Its not that much only a couple hundred dollars, if you have the money I would go for it. Plus saltwater are more interesting I am told.

Planted with neons :p . It will look simple but so beautiful, like the amazon. I love neons in a planted tank, their blues and red stand out so good. Then just get 3-4 cories or shrimp to finish it off. A cute little community. I'm sure you would never have problems with it.

Yeah it might look pretty good, that would get my second vote.

i go for neons as well, slight of topic but not really, i was at brdigmere garden center today, in cheshrie and they have a large selcetion, inculdeding, some labeled as 'wild green neons' which were excellent had i got room for tehm i would have got them, maybe u could get some of those for a touch of varity, or even some balck neons, i think all neons are great
