Well after a long wait and a lot of patience (Almost lost it ) the wait is finnally over.(47 days) Tested my water today and my readings were Ammonia: around .1(will be 0 by tommorow, i added a tblesppon of ammonia rescently is why its at .1) nitrite:0 and nitrates between 40 and 60. So now i think im going to do a water change of about 40-50%, sound right
Ahead of ya lol, i have some already. I think they should be fine as my water is slightly acidic and i heard they like that better. I think they should be fine, at least lets hope
no offense taken at all... I should have clarified... it was a build off another thread a similiar post was made... building on the joke not striking back... and your fish choice is by no means dumb, extremely cool actually...
Thanks... between work, working on the pond, taking care of existing animals (including my rare Cuban Female Human aka my girlfriend Stephanie) and general home responsibilities... (and babbling on here WAY too much) it's about killing me... but well worth it!
PS - if your considering getting a Rare Cuban Female Girlfriend RECONSIDER! They take a ton of up keep and talk about unpredictable mood swings!!
So u guys think a 40-50% water change would move those nitrates down enough?
OO ya and should i wait till right before i get the fish to do the water change or do it a day before and feed it a little ammonia before i get the fish??
