i bought three t ellioti at around 2 inches, now theres one with fantastic colors (i really want to get a pic up asap) but he/she ( i don't know how you sex them ) seems to be really aggressive to the other two chasing them behind a large lump of wood.
how could i calm it down, i thought about putting some plants in the middle so there isn't a direct view to the other side of the tank. should i take it out of the tank and move some stuff around?

thanks

You need to have plenty of little caves etc that can each than claim as their territory. Putting some planting between these territories won't do any harm though.

try to define some area's for them to gaurd, the more the merryier, maybe take out the aggressor and rearrange tank totally, float aggressor after for around 30mins-1hr.....then release.....worked once for me with different cichlids

As nelly says, take the aggressor out, and rearrange the tank. I've had some issues with 2 Angel and did this after advice from Tolak, and It seems to have worked fingers crossed.
