Electric Blue Cichlids

Yea, that's nice and interesting but what about my very light gray blueish fading away females?

They were once dark/nasty blackish gray.. Now turning into a light whitish/blueish light grayish color... -_-

Are they definately females?

Could just be matureing in color or possibly subdominance in an agresive tank

How come my electric blues think they own the damn tank. They don't boss the Parrot cichlid around because they know that Claudet will kick their ass -_-

But seriously, I've just made tons and tons of caves several days ago, and I topped the caves with more caves. The only ones that use these caves are the Convicts, algae eaters, loaches. The African cichlids enjoy the area where there's tons of huge rocks and plants, compared to the area where there's tons of huge caves. 125 gallon btw. -_-

The africans you have are open watter cichlids so liekly the reason though they still enjoy cover. They can become dominant for a variety of reasons alot of times africans are more agresive then non-breeding nworlds

I'm sure it was mentioned here before but it is best not to mix africans and New worlds, something to consider re stocking youir tank with one or the other in the future or if this is working alright just never do it again.
