Hello
Some of you might know I have had mass guppy extinctions before where all guppies and fry died. Well, I had danio extinctions as well where pus would seep out the side of the Zebra/Leopard danio. After nearly 5 years, we still have a strong survivor!
Eimprezs (pronounced as Aim- pres-z, basically meaning Aim to Impress the Empress) is a nearly 5 year old fish and this is a brief summary of her story:
Many years has she lived and many times she survived through mass guppy and danio extinctions. Once, she was the only fish of her species left in the tank, so depressed, she attempted to commit suicide by suffocating herself behind the filter. This was rather recent. 2 years ago, we got another batch of danios. She and her tankmate Zest are the only ones alive today. Many might say to euthanise her but she is a fighter and when I think she will die the next day, she improves. Don't be fooled by the angle of her tail, it was worse but she is an active (for her age) tough lady. This might be a bit biased but I think she deserves to win a FOTM contest because she is a very hardy survivor that has a sad backstory but is still pursuing life. I hope you find this inspirational.
