Eheim 400 Air Pump.....

my eheim 400 air pump keep blowing either the air hose out of the pump itself or the pipe from the non return valve. this happens about every 4/5 days and is driving me nuts has anyone else had this problem? can i use superglue, or will it contaminate the tank....? the pump seems noisey too and i bought it on recomendation of it being quiet........!

Has it got two air outlets
It looks if it has flow adjusters in this picture http/cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eheim-400-lph-aquari...id=p3286.c0.m14
Have you tried turning down the air flow if any.
Or try cutting/nipping off a piece of the air tubing for a tighter fit,
You could try small cable ties also.

thats the one hoggie cable ties might work on the non return valve but the ones actually on the pump itself are recessed so wont work there. the air flow is about half open/closed so not running on full flow either.......
ill cut a piece off to try and get a better fit
