Eheim 2211

Ive recently got one of the above external filters.
Ive unclipped the silver clips and taken the lid off but i cant get the lid apart cos i need to replace a part.

Anyone have simple instructions?

There are small indents around the lid, push those in and the top should come off.

Yay done, used a little screwdriver to help me

"porcalain stick that goes through the impellor"
Would that go through the bottom? I mean Ive taken the little bit off the bottom does it just poke in?

Pretty much. It's probably easier if you take out the whole impellor to make sure everything's in properly- the sticks are a nightmare, I replaced one and broke the new one trying to put it in...

if i'm correct (kev dealt with it) just a gentle tug?

cant see where to pull there the small bit to twist slightly is that bit the propellor?

as you take the lid off and turn it over, it is smack bang in the middle

Does the whole plate come off?
cos with the link i sent to you of all the individual parts numbers it looks like it might

Think i might have done it lol blond moment hehe

I know which bit goes where now lol alot clearer lol
Ill probably have more qu on sat when i set it up

Just wondering cos the site ive bought the shaft off say 1-2 working days
