Would there be any point of getting a Eheim 2028 for a 240 litre reef tank aswell as about 15kg Live Rock then a few Kilos added gradually would this filtration be enough for fish in a brand new tank,if i want to add fish A.S.A.P!
Thanks

If you don't have the eheim already, I think you'd be better off spending your money on more live rock.

I have a 240l tank with 25kg of LR and its working really well. You'll appreciate though that its not just a matter of throwing the LR in then go add your fish. You need to check the ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels as a minimum and make sure that your tank has fully cycled before you start adding fish.

Ok when you say cycle just too make usre im right does it mean like when the water has reached to correct levels e.g nitrate levels etc.

Yep. When the tank has cycled you will have 0 readings for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite.

Please don't rush though or you will and up with dead fish and an empty wallet
