Just spotted these on the glass behind the termometer. Could they be cory? or oto? or snail? ...very tiny, slightly creamy in colour, not sticky but firm, came off the glass easily but tried to float away. I got them into the plastic cup I use for frozen food and they're now in my breeding net in my fry tank with the flow of the filter on them. Help please :)

Bit blurry - sorry

wishful thinking possibly but my bronze cories are a wee bit frisky this morning... perhaps it was them

I'm gonna come straight out with it and apologise in advance.

I'm actually really upset by that comment AlmostAwesome. I spend half my life on this forum helping out newbies that have got themselves into a pickle. Trying to tell fish owners when their livebearers are going to drop fry despite plenty of information on the forum if only they took the time to search and read.

In the time I've been a member I've done nothing more than try to help where and when I can. My picture taking skills may not be great but there was nothing wrong with the question I asked. There was no need to come and tell me my pictures were hopeless and not comment at all on the topic in question.

Please can a mod lock this topic. I have nothing further to say on this

She did put a 'fun' face after her post to show she was only joking .
@ topic, not a clue but cory seem to put there eggs into some strange places :S

Dont be upset - its easy to mis-interpret how people come across on the computer - sometimes it may read rudely to others when its not meant to be - im sure AlmostAwesome was just joking.

From the description I would bet on cory eggs too! Let us know when they hatch! :good:

My money would be on your cories. Most fish tend to lay eggs in groups, but cories like to scatter. I hve found cory eggs in some of the strangest places, including accidentally on the tail of another fish. If you moved the eggs from the tank, make sure you have an air source in your bowl or jar (or whatever your keeping them in) Hope this helps.

I'm sorry. I'm having a rotten day. I'm really really poorly with my fibromyalgia and just before I found the eggs I heard a friend and neighbour had died - she's less that 25 years old and had been ill with liver trouble for a few months.

Anyway, that aside the reply did upset me but I'm alright now.

Talking to Harlequins in the cory section and she agrees I got cory eggs. Whether I've got furtile cory eggs is another matter though
