Eggs

bbs works really well, but make a decision quick, you don't want the little loves to go hungry for too long.

Hi folks. The babies are still going well. I did what you told me and boiled an egg and used the yoke. I've since made a very small water change. The babies are looking great, they are now swimming around like normal baby fish would. They are swimming about an inch from the top and seem fine. Good news today, the fry food arrived in the post first thing this morning.

Now I need to get a cultivation going. Can't find the brine shrimp eggs I had. I may have thrown them because the last one's didn't work. They should be ok for a while on the liquid fry though yeah?

Thanks for the help guys. They look really cool and boy can they move. They can dart around quicker than a baby guppy can.

The liquify should be ok for a couple of weeks I would think, but these babies grown quite quickly at first, and they'll soon need something a bit more nutricious (sp?) then liquifry. Do about 2 weeks on the liquifry and if you can, hikari first bites, they work amazing and you should be able to order them offline. then when they about double in size you could try feed them some frozen tubiflex worms, see how they take to them :good:

I have frozen blood worm and brine shrimp. Would that be any use when the time comes? I'm going to get a cultivation going anyway.

I will order some hikari first bites then. Cheers.

There still going strong. Although I can't see as many in the main tank, the ones I can see are probably twice as big as the ones in the baby tank. Getting big now.
