My second tank is 24" long with 5 sunset platies, male fighter, blind cave fish and 3 cories. The cave fish came from my 3ft tank as he was being bullied by my new flying fox. Anyway on the right glass, at the top, close to the surface are lots of white eggs!!! By process of elimination they can only have come from a cory or the blind cave fish. Doubt they'll be fertilised but anyone have any idea which fish they're from? TBH the cave fish looks a bit thinner round the abdomen than before. Could be her then! Do all fish eggs look the same and are white? Looks like my platies are slowly eating them but they're stuck hard to the glass. In all my years keeping fish I've never seen any eggs before so had a bit of a shock!

really stupid question but do you have a snail in your tank, their eggs can usually be found stuck fast to glass.

My guess is corydoras eggs..

If they look like that, near the top they are cory eggs.

Hi crazychris :)

Corys will spawn anywhere on the glass, or on plants, filter, decorations, or any other surface they find. They will often choose spots that have a good flow of water across them. Depending on the species you have, the eggs might be larger or smaller than others. If you have at least one male and one female cory, chances are good that many of the eggs are fertile and will hatch if you can save them from being eaten by the other inhabitants of the tank.

If your corys have spawned once, they are very likely to repeat the process in the future, usually within a few days of doing a big water change. They are tricky but not too difficult to raise, as long as you are prepared. Here's a link with more information that you might find interesting:
