It just occurred to me that my albimarginata probably don't carry eggs constantly like splendens females do, but I have no idea of what their cycles are like... anybody know, or know someone who might? I've given them a couple of weeks to settle in, so now I'm just about ready to really start trying to get some breeding goin' on. :hey:

I was just looking on aquabid and there is a seller with albimarginata fry. Maybe you could contact him and ask him, since it looks like he was successful. Just an idea :dunno:

You could email Gerald, he would probably know for sure. His email is [email protected]
She most likely has a cycle, I'm just not sure how long, nor could I even begin to guess.

Thanks guys, I can always count on you to help me out!

I'll email Gerald about it just to verify, but I imagine the site is right. I don't think my female has had a cycle yet, as her bully isn't the slightest bit plump (except for right after meal time, hehe). It's really amazing how well the trio get along together in their 10 gallon. The males don't even posture at one-another anymore, and the female is almost always hanging out with one of the males. You can tell they were tank-raised too, as they're not picky about eating and aren't the slightest bit shy!
