Hi Everyone

I just bought some plants labeled as "Echinodorus Tenellus", but when I looked up pictures online, they dont resemble my plants at all.

My swords are broader leafed... slightly taller than what most species profile of Echinodorus Tenellus online say... mine measures approx 10-12cm.

I know I shouldnt have bought them if I knew I would have doubts about them, but I just havnt seen E.Tenellus around here before and got a little too excited.

On the label it has an icon of a sun behind clouds, meaning they can be grown in shade... is that whats happened to my swords? is that why they are so tall? what about the broad leaves? will they change their appearance to a narrower leaf, shorter height if i provide them with 2.5wpg?

I have Tetra complete substrate as my root fertiliser.

thanks

If they have been grown out of water then the new leaves grown underwater will likely have a different appearance which may explain things a little.

How can u tell if its grown out or inside of water? or am I gonna have to ask the shop from which I got the plants from?
