Dying Of Old Age

Has any of your fish ever died of old age? If so, how long had you had him/her for and what type of fish?
I was just wondering.

I believe this has happend to me.. It depends on what old age is.. I mean i had a goldfish from a fair for 7 years im sure other people on hear can say the samething but probably a lot longer.. There were no signs of fungus or injury he just died.. Most other fish that i lose now which is rare is because of a fungus/parasite or it was killed by another.

I've lost several bettas to old age, between 3 and 4 years.

lots of tetras, up to age 6.

2 bettas, each lived about 2 years im thinking.
