What species are we talking about?
20mm max size? 30x20x25cm
40mm max size? 60x30x30cm

Only babies, but it all depends on size, of course.

MINIMUM tank size 75cm
MINIMUM number in tank 5
If keeping 5 then probably 1M/4F ratio, if keeping 6 then probably 2M/4F and so and and so forth, I only had juveniles , had 6 and they did nip at the amano shrimps I had in the tank, so they might have munched them when they reached adulthood, males tend to have more red on spine and females more a yellowish colour.

I kept a group of 9 which were 5 males 4 females (not that ratio by choice) but they are lovely and active in a larger group. I'd say 3ft long min tank as they are quick. (My remaining 5 are in a 5ft)
