What would be causing some of the dwarf hair grass in my tank to turn yellow? Lack of light? Lack of nutrients? I don't have special lights or dose ferts. I have a few clumps in different places, two of them are starting to turn yellow. All my other plants are thriving.

I'm pretty sure that stuff needs loads and loads of light.

What are your tank sizes and what kind of light do you have?

It doesn't need loads of light. If its an odd few strands of hairgrass, I'd put money it was old grow, as this stuff is grown out of water. Try to trim if it is odd strands.
If your talking large clumps of hairgrass, my money would be on lack of c02 as in my experience this stuff need a little c02 to help it.

You can dose excel. It comes in handy for the non co2 tanks
