pH: 8
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 20
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 80F
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): female dwarf gourami: area around one eye is red and swollen but actual eye is fine. Colour not off, normal behaviour, maybe hiding a little more than normal
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 25% weekly
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: API tap water conditioner at water change, also stress coat and stress zyme
Tank inhabitants:2 kribensis, 6 silvertip tetra, 2 black neon, 5 neons, L128, 1 dwarf gourami, 3 amano shrimps
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): 3 plants, steralized before addition
Exposure to chemicals: tank was treated with protazin for whitespot over a week ago, along with melafix to prevent secondary infection. Male dwarf gourami looked very ill then his scales stuck out (presumed dropsy) so treated with interpet anti bacterial no.9 second dose yesterday (using half dose because of L128). Male gourami died day of first dose (Wed), female gourami developed eye problem since yesterday.
sorry about bad quality pics, used phone as camera batteries dead...
What is it? Should I carry on treating with interpet no. 9?
any help much appreciated!
