Dwarf Gourami Swimming Erratically, Lying On Side

Well the fish hasn't improved but he hasn't got better either, he's still lying on his side at the bottom of the tank. Should I do the humane thing and put him out of his misery? Or is there something else I could try?

If you don't have access to a tetracycline based antibiotic, I think euthanizing it might be the most humane thing to do. SH
