Dwarf Gourami Or German Blue Ram

I can't decide on which fish to get when I'm done with my cycle. They both look good, they both will fit into a 25gal aquarium, and they both are pretty peaceful. I plan on having some cories(a group of 4 - 6), some tetras and shrimp. Maybe some smaller cichlids or gourami's as well.
Which fish would do better with the type of fish I plan on keeping? And would having 2 Dwarf Gourami or German Blue Ram 's(1 male, 1 female) be alright for my tank size as well?

in your situation i would say gourami.

If you can get a pair of really nice colorful ones i vote rams!

But if you do get gouramis get a trio -1 m 2females, that way the male's aggression is spread out.

Rams, as a male gourami will pick on other gouramis and can often be quite agressive towards other fish A male Gourami with a lone fimale will kill him mate given long enough. You need at least two females to each male, and only one male to a tank. It would be best to get more females if possible so that the males attentions are divided if you get them.
Rams are almost always placid, even at breeding time, though some do have an attitude it is very rare for them to terrorise anything

If you were me, i`d get 1 male dwarf gourami and 3 female dwarf gouramis. but that just me

So its pretty much something like this?

1 male Gourami or
1 male Gourami and 3 females or
1 male Ram and 1 female
