I'm quite new to tropical fish and I set up my first tropical community tank this year. I recently, too weeks ago, bought a pair of dwarf gourami. Too my surprise, today they started spawning. I thought the bubbles were from some of my plants that have reached the edge of the water, but it must have been mr gourami
Anyway, in the tank are 5 rosy barbs, 2 kribs and my albino bristlenose catfish. Mr gourami is currently guarding his nest and the other fish are quite curious but keeping their distance. My question is what do i do next? should i remove the nest, or leave him with it? I'm guessing none of them will survive with the other fish around so should i cordon the area off? I'm trying to find any information about this on the net, but nothing seems to be coming up
Any advice is most welcome
