I am in the process of ordering a trio of cockatoos from apistodave. He recommended the Orange flash, so that's what it will be. I'm so excited.

It's for my Miniature Tropical Community. I have recently also aquaired the pygmy corys, a family of Sparkling Gourami (maybe both kinds, pumila and scharletti), a family of scarlet badisbadis. I have two honey females in a sick tank along with four more sparklers, that I hope will someday be cleared to join the new community.

But I am looking forward to seeing what apistodave will send me.

I really love the triple reds as apposed to the orange flash but they're both gorgeous!

Apistodave recommended the agassazi red tail as tank mates with the caucatoides. So I am getting a foursome of Orange flash caucatoides and a trio of agassazi red tail.

You will probably get better color-coverage with an orange flash than with a triple red. Most flashes tend to be almost all color.

Do keep in mind that different species of apistogramma can interbreed; but generally won't if there is a member of the opposite sex in the same species.
