i'm looking to stock my 15g with a pair of dwarf chiclids with a shoal of tetra.

any suggestions on numbers to stock and what species?

i used to like the rams i used to have but i want something else.

what sort of tetra should i go for i'm looking for emperor tetra (nematobrycon palmeri), black phantom tetra (megalamphodus megaloterus), rummy nose (hemigrammus rhodostomus), cardinals (cheirodon axelrodi) or serpae's ( hyphessobrycon serpae).

i'm looking to stock maybe 10 tetra with a pair of dwarf chiclids? or i could go with just a pair of chiclids?

i have experience in looking after young and so thats not a problem.

cheers for any suggestions

:good:

Think that would be all right cause dwarf cichlids are pretty peaceful, except when they spawn. I would go with the larger tetras just to be on the safe side!

Well it really depend on if you want to breed them or not. If you do wish to breed them then the best fish to have with them are pencil fish and not tetras as pencils are not as good at eating apisto fry.If your not that worried about breeding then any small tetra will be okay.
