Dumb Fish In Bioube Tank

he /she only swam down the air tube test tube looking pipe so got stuck at the bottom

not happy had to get all the plants out and carnt get it to look right now !!! has this happened to any one else? ive now tied a piece of tights with a elestic band so fish can not enter but bubbles can still escape

Not suprising, garras like current and the tube is the most flow-y bit of the tank.

Get yourself a bubble tube guard. It goes on the end of the tube to prevent things like that

Reef one tanks aren't ideal for bottom feeders, they even say this in the documentation

Actually that's a good point. Just looked the fish up as I didn't know what it was. Best to get it out of the ube as soon as you can. With that ceramic media in there it won't do the fish's mouthparts any good :good:

theres lots of smooth rock on top of the media now thats a old pic bless the fish has came out of hiding now and its got a pink nose where it must have been rubbing at the bottom of the tube,
ive taken a pic last night of him but waiting for my batterys on camera to charge before i can post them
i carnt rehome it as i want it back in the discus tank as it such a good looking fish
