George, have you tried our trace mix?
Not yet. I can't see it being noticeably better than the CSM+B. I'm willing to try a free sample though!! ;)

It's virtually the same bar the iron concentration which is slightly higher in ours.


I've just bought some although I have yet to try it and work out the dose etc for my 45G.

Richard, How much Iron Sulphate would you add for a 45? My measuring spoons do not have 1/10th

:lol: I can see this 1/10 of a teaspoon casuing problems. Go for about the size of a rice grain, then do a Fe test to check the level. You'll be surprised how potent it is. What I want to stress though is the ease of adding ferts direct to the tank, don't worry if you put too much in at any stage, as you can always reverse that by doing a water change.

I actually prefer to add ferts in this way although fom what I have seen Iron test kts are not meant to be that great.
