I am worried about my pangasius, he has a larger than usual stomach, he still eats, is quite active and likes to hide in the bogwood, I am worried it could be the start of dropsy godforbid, please help :(

Answering these will help. I know you don't have a test kit but I'd buy one as soon as you can and test the water and post results.

1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior).
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?

Also what do you feed? How much and how often? How long has this been going on?

How long has the tank been set up? How did you cycle it?

Sorry for all the questions and I know you answered a few in chat but they will help other poster's see the full picture and be able to help you better.

There is a potential for this to be the start of deformity. Pangasius catfish should grow to be around a metre long. I know your signature says that the 110l is old, so what is your current size tank?

If I remember correctly in chat yesterday he said it was 50g. Apologies OP if I am remembering wrong.
