Dropsy

I'm really sorry :( As he still seems perky maybe he will pull through-I hope so.

i dont mean to worry you but, thats just what cloud looked like a week or so before he past....is he getting any kind of white patchs under his mouth/belly? hows he doing today? poor guy i really want him to pull through!

Hey guys, I hate to say it but right now I am just waiting for the clove oil to turn up to put him out of his misery. He is appauling today and it is the first day that he is not himself.. His underbelly has started to lighten and turn white :( The previous nights he was very much himself and was happy to try and wait this out (glimmer of hope) but now my poor miniman...

p.s. thank you all for the fantastic help and support xxx

Dont wory Amy you have tried your best. Bless him,
maybe this is one bad reason about keeping bettas, you get too attached to them then when they pass you cant take it.

So far I have had two bettas pass and in both cases knew it was coming. With Rude he was ALWAYS ill and didnt seem to have an immune system and with my other Tiny Tim well he had passed the one and a half year mark and developed the grey beard, he went pretty peacefully. I was very attached to them as all my bettas but Calcifer was the first that started the madness and is such a little diva, very special to me and Alex x

oh dear :( this is such bad news!!! im so sorry to hear this  i hope he go's quick, :-(

Just to let you guys know Calcifer didnt suffer long, he passed away during the day and we found him tonight. Thank you all so much for all the support, really appreciate xxxx

:( im glad it was over quickly, he was such a beautiful lil guy RIP lil dude :(
