Drop Checker

I have just filled my drop checker. I put two drops of the solution in, then filled with 4DKH solution until the bubble was half full. I read that the solution should be blue in colour BEFORE adding to the aquarium, but it shows green! So i added a third and then fourth drop of the blue stuff (as per the bottle which said i could add 2-4 drops, but it has stayed green.

Any advice as to why it is green and how to make it blue?
