Driftwood Question

I wanna use a piece of driftwood that I found outside. I don't really have a pot big enough to boil it so I want to know if I can bake it?

HaS anybody ever done this? How long? What temp? I don't want it to burst into flames in the stove.

why dont you just soak it in teh bath tub for a few hours a night???/
by baking it your prob gonna turn a nice peice of wood into ash......
hopefully someone else has an idea.

I don't mean to sound rude, But how do you boil wood in the bath?

pour lots of water from the kettle in!

Im sure most baths in the UK are non-thermosetting plastic (useless fact from school tech lesions) so boiling water may warp your bath a little. So be careful if ya going to do that.

Unless you have a ceramic/enamal bath. In which case you have to much money and should send some to me
