I got a Large Piece (L shaped, I had to trim about 6" of the top for my glass lid to fit on a 18" high tank) of driftwood today, it felt dampish to touch I was wondering how long it might take to get waterlogged enough to stay on the bottom, also would it take longer/shorter/same time for the trimmed piece to sink?

Thanks Wolf I checked the plants, begginers and chit chat pinned topics I obviously overlooked the hardware forum  sillyme

So I figure if its a boggish wood then overnightnight but if its a basic drifwood then it could tank a week or more to sink, oh well time will tell :D
